Art 366 and the Resurrection of my Social Media

So I'm going to start with the former. I dislike Social Media. I don't like self promotion. I'm a quiet sort of person, I'm not big on speaking highly of myself, I leave that to others, and prefer to speak highly of others as well. So, with this year, I'm attempting to revive all of my Social Media accounts, purely for the success of my artwork, and not so much for myself. I *need* to self promote and broadcast in an artistic field, so I have to get over my aversion and just go with it. That's why, as of now, all of my creative pages have been revived, are being purged, and changed to suit the path that I'm taking. That includes DA, of course.

One of my New Years Resolutions is essentially to create art. But, I took it a step further. I want to create art every single day, for the entire year. It's a leap year too, so I've named this ongoing project Art366.

I'll be updating all of my social media with information, and, as soon as the cords for my scanner come in, images of each of the drawings and art I create. Right now, I'm trying to keep them in weekly themes and restrictions (For example the first week, I tried to make about finding direction, focus, and limiting myself to only some cheap watercolor and a ballpoint pen on sketch paper).

I think every week, specifically here on DA and over on Tumblr, I'll include weekly updates where I actually talk about the week, and the ideas behind the work. Anyhow hope you guys enjoy something out of this ^^
