Title: Greed
Medium: Acrylic Painting on Canvas Panel

Size: 4x4 Canvas Panel
The 2nd Painting in the Abstract Sins of this week, this is Greed, Unfortunately, the gold in the painting is only barely visible, and has no iridescent effect whatsoever when scanned. There’s a series of greens, yellows, and whites layered on top of a yellow canvas, topped off wt a little bit of gold, red, and pink. I see animal like creatures in both of the abstract paintings so far, though I’m sure other people see different things. This one is supposed to feel crowded, overflowing, like that vibrant green intends to swallow everything around it as if it is some sort of monstrosity, the red being something like a monster’s eye (Notice how the red is only sparsely placed within different vibrant greens). I also see something like a piranha in here, somewhere
This one didn’t come together as quickly as Sloth, Originally there was a golden hand reaching up from one of the corners, but as the rest of the painting came to fruition, I immediately hated it and redacted that entire section and then repainted over it to exactly match the rest of the painting
